That was a sic goal.

I was loving the first 5min or so. Between Gabbs scoring quick on Hank, and doin the Anisimov sniper (which caused a "minor" fight last time), and Girardi scoring first for Alfredsons team. The Rags were well represented!!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Too many days with not one game this year. Could've at least had a Winnipeg/Minnesota game on the day after the all-star game, as neither team really has any deserving participants.

Can't wait for the trade deadline now. Hopefully Ottawa doesn't pull any stupid moves to try to make a run this year. It's too soon, stay the course, let the kids play, and if we miss the playoffs, so be it.

I like to watch other teams make big moves though. Wonder if Jeff Carter gets traded?

Who cares? Ottawa is garbage... The team is garbage. The city is garbage. The people are garbage.

Even my wife wouldn't watch the ASG!

OT - They also need to drop the Football ASG, AKA the Pro Bowl. They need to come up with a skills competition or something. It's not like anyone watches it either. Figure out what would make people go see it and give the money to charity.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if Hockey should drop it too. I'd watch it, but only if it was close enough to go see in person.

Carter is the worst 40 goal scorer of this decade. Columbus got fleeced in that deal, and won't get nearly enough back for what they paid. I was so glad to see that stiff get moved out of Philly.

Although I don't really give a **** about being in the financial-capital of Canada, being a fan of the team who's home is the Centre of the Hockey Universe feels nice.

When you're the Centre of the Hockey Universe, haters are just a part of day-to-day life. We've gotten used to it, it's cool.

Oh, and Ottawa is acutally a really nice place. In the summer, at least. Freakin' COLD in the winter, but that's Canada - wear a toque. Now, if we're going to talk about the suburban desolation that is Kanata (where the Sens actually play), then that's a different story. A team's hockey rink should be right smack downtown IMO. Unless it's in Phoenix - they've got a kick-ass setup there, too bad they can't fill the rink.

Best part of living in Toronto is that you don't have to bother caring what the rest of the country thinks about you. They're jealous I guess? Especially people in BC - they have some strange hard-on for hating the T-Dot for some reason. Too much ganja perhaps...

New to the forum and came across this thread. GO BRUINS!!!! NHL to institute new net strength testing requirements as outcome of Chara's power.

So not even 2 minutes in and the refs are already ****ing up this game with terrible interference calls. I thought we were done with this **** this season and had moved on...

Need every goal we can get against the Pens.

I'm pumped about hockey being back on, but I'm let down by my latest beer. I made a Rye Pale Ale with Cascade and Williamette. It sounded delicious, but it just tastes bitter, in an almost harsh way.

Flyers suck at shootouts...I thought they had a chance when Bryz, who usually looks like Swiss cheese in the SO, stopped the first two, but the Flyers got shutout in the shootout and lose.

My god.... Another blown lead - that one's for you, emjay!

And in this one they were up by three, and well into the third period... now I'll never be able to relax, heh.

Up by 3, and totally dominating the entire game. Figures Malkin scores off his friggin' chest. WTF....

Still the most entertaining game of the season so far I think. Tonight should be a real doozy!

That was quite the game last night. I hate that living in the west coast means I don't get to watch pens games... I watched the highlights showing us down by three in the third and shut the tv off. Then I got an alert from espn saying ot was over and I was like wtf?
