Yes, I agree the Wild really suck right now. But they still are holding onto 6th place in the Western Conference for a playoff stop. Better then the leafs battling for a spot. I did watch two periods of last nights game vs. the Canucks but there wasn't anything to trash talk about. Couldn't even get one by Roberto "Lebrongo."

Wild have been tough to watch lately. About as good as our team in Purple. To make matters worse, we can't score on the Grease Monkey (running 3 game SO for Luongo). Even getting some of these guys back from injury doesn't seem to be helping. We need a defibrillator to jolt us out of this coma, right now.

The first couple years of the Duck's existence they had their ******* mascot "fly" out of the rafters, ala Tinkerbell, and land at center ice. They sold logo'd duck calls in the gift shop and would often give them out as promotions. Every jackarse kid in the arena would wail away on one all night long. Going to games back then was a fraggin nightmare.

Flyers yougins are getting it done tonight - Rinaldo with a great play to break up a 2-on-1 and a great fight, Harry Z with a goal from a great play made by Couturier, a goal by JVR, Voracek has a goal...and 3 straight by the Flyers has given them a 4-2 lead.

Yes, they are balanced on all sides of the puck, but I'll remind you that even with Bergeron getting his 10th tonight, the Flyers have 8 guys with 10+ goals and the Bruins only have 6. Krejci got his 9th tonight, so they're close to having 7 and might by the end of the night the way they're playing. Devils currently have 7 players with 10+ goals.

Boston really is an impressive team right now - largest goals for/against differential, most goals per game, lowest average goals against, they're just a consistent and strong team. Hopefully they sputter like the Caps and if they keep going the way they are, maybe the curse of the President's Trophy.

They're two points out from first in the NHL with 5 games at hand over Vancouver, and could move into first place in the East with a win tonight and a Rangers loss, but they'll still have a game at hand over the Rags.
