On the Chara issue, I heard an interesting point on TSN which I'm going to have to agree with and that is regarding fines and suspensions. While I don't feel there was intent to injur, especially to the extent it happened, an injury did happen on an illegal play (interference), in which case, a suspension and/or fine would be justified.
That being said, the injury is simply a risk that is inherent in such a high speed physical game. I have no problem with it, and there was nothing wrong with the type of hit that caused the injury, other than that it impeded the player in such a way that it was an interference call.
Other than that, I see a sore lack of people talking about the Calgary Flames, so I'm just going to enjoy watching the 3-3 tie with Dallas and hope for the best as we try to figure out how will make the playoffs in the west. She's going down to the last game for sure.
