Hey guys, thanks for the advice on my previous post :)

As the title suggests I have a spare demijon needing filled, I would like to have a nice Berry mead for the summer so was wondering if anyone knows any good recipes?

Also I have really only tried sweet meads as I can't seem to find a dry mead can someone point me to a brand of dry mead I can try? (UK based) I want to compare the tastes.

Thanks
Jordan

I'm in the US, but I haven't been able to find a commercial mead that I really like, sweet or dry. Though everyone's taste is different so that may not be true for everyone else.
I believe you will probably have a hard time finding anything in store that would compare yo something made at home, as those big companies only care about volume, not quality.. ):

Yeah, like the post above me, it seems what mead I can even find at stores is sub par to what I can make on my own. If you want a real good tasting truly craft mead, your best option is to make it yourself. It's well worth the wait. If you don't want to wait months or years to drink it, Bray's One Month Mead is actually a great recipe. I'll be sticking with variations of that one for the foreseeable future. Once you get the basic recipe down, it's not too hard to make changes that won't affect it in a negative way.
