Hi!

previously i brewed a gallon cider from tesco value apple juice- it fermented for two weeks and has been racked off and sweetened- tastes ok, but quite cloudy, hoping for some carbonation (its currently inside two 2l fizzy drink bottles). i hope it turns out tasting nice, as this would mean i have a very cheap cider recipe (only apple juice, sugar and champagne yeast)

i decided for my first beer to brew some wheat beer using a coopers kit :]
my ingredients were:

coopers wheat beer kit
500 grams light spraymalt
300 grams sugar.
starting SG: 1.034
currently fermenting at 17C... is this too cold- its bubbling away, with a surge of bubbles aproximately every minuite...?

also, i want to add some oranges to the mix as i hear this will impart some flavour, and i plan to do this after fermentation has finished?

1 week since i began- tasted a litte bit of the beer- pretty flavourless... is there anything i can do about this?

Leave it alone and don't touch it for 3 weeks or more. Beer in the early stages tastes totally different from the final product.
