I’m in the process of build my HERMS system. I currently have 10 gallon spike kettles. When I installed the elements, the end of the element was in contact with the kettle.

I went ahead and bought a couple of TC spool extensions from brewhardware. When I put them together the element is now touching part of the extension. Will this be an issue? I was thinking of maybe clamp the element closer together with a hose clamp.
What do you guys think? Thanks for your help!

^ I agree with Golfinda on this. The elements can be bend without any problems as long as your not trying to do an extreme tight bend like a right angle or anything.
