I've seen a few posts about dry hopping the apfelwein with moderate success. I will happen to have about .5oz-1oz of extra leftover El Dorado Hops after my next brew and was wondering what anyone with experience thinks.
I have never used El Dorado Hops before but the flavor profile is supposed to be "watermelon" and "Starburst" which sounds interesting when paired with a wine profile.
At a minimum I'm going to make the 5 gallon of plain apfelwein and then transfer at least a gallon off to a jug for dry hopping.
