Last weekend I decided I needed to insulate Mash Tun and came up with a neat idea that I thought you guys might like. Instead of adding insulation to the MLT directly, I insulated a plastic tub with two layers of reflectix and put it on top of the MLT. I didn't lose a single degree of heat in the entire hour long mash.
