I am only on my second batch and am looking for a bigger challenge than my first, which was a Partial American Pale Ale. My current favorite is Lagunitas Censored AKA The Kronik. I found an AG recipe on here that apparantly came from Jamil's podcast. Apparantly the brew master gave a homebrew recipe that will get you close.
Being new to this and having no clue how to do AG yet, I went to my LHBS. They converted to LME on the two-row, Munich, and Wheat Malt. The Crystal 60 and Roasted Barley came in grain form. I know enough to know that I steep these in a Muslin bag at 156 f. What i do not know is, for how long should I steep them for? The Pale Ale kit i did on my first batch was a 30 min steep. Since this is not a kit and a by the seat of my pants kinda thing, I am hoping to get some insight.
Thanks and
CHEERS.
