man, finally get to go hear some live music, post Rita. Dwight the man will be in the big ol' city of Beaumont, TX. gonna get some tunes in tonight. just too bad i have to drink commercial swill while we there
any body check out he's cd Used Records? pretty cool.....

I've heard him on Sirius a lot lately (listen to 'Outlaw Country' channel alot...love Mojo Nixon!), really like his recent stuff, Blaim the Vain, I think. Have to admit I haven't really listened to his older stuff much.

Didn't know he was involved with either of them, but it is the Mojo Nixon of various musical fame (how many Mojo's can there be?). I'm more familiar with Mojo Nixon and the Toadliquors as far as bands go.

he was damn good too! packed house. they couldn't have fit another tight pair of wranglers in there! :D
Dwight has always had that rebel, edgey, honky tonk thing going. the band was tight, they were loud as sh*t , and sounded good. small, small venue too. just a little night club.

Maybe if everybody removed their Skoal from their backpocket they could have squeezed some more in?! I might have to keep an eye out to see if he comes 'round this way. Like I said, not a fan or anything, but I appreciate anybody that isn't in Nashville dribbling that pop crap all over the place. The next thing on my radar is Drive by Truckers on the 18th/19th in Chapel Hill. That's usually my brewday music!
