Dunkel Error

Brewing a brewer's best dunkel kit. mistakenly added the hallertau and boiled for 40 and then finished with the herbrucker.

Instructions say to do it other way around.

Is my beer gonna be weird?

a quick google search says the alpha acids for herbrucker is 1.5-3.5% and hallertau is 3.0-5.0%

So if you used hallertau for your bittering hops it will be a bit more bitter than if you used herbrucker but it really depends on how much hallertau you used. Honestly though they're both a pretty low alpha acid percentage so I'm sure your beer will be fine.
