Sorry if this topic has been covered before... a search for dry and dry ice didn't produce any results.

Anyway, I'm going to start kegging my beer and was interested in naturally carbing in the keg so I was doing a little research and came across an interesting suggestion on force carbing using dry ice.

The link to the natural carb article =

http://www.ehow.com/how_7406002_naturally-carbonate-beer-keg.html

Look at the only comment tagged onto the end there where the guy mentions the dry ice method.

Does this work? How well? Can you do this and then let the beer age for 3+ weeks as you normally would for natural carbing?

Thanks for the info!

I've never tried it, and didn't read the article, but as long as there is enough initial pressure to properly seal the keg, you have options (course, that includes running away as fast as you can).

sorry gents... ya, i was using the "search this forum" box, not the google box up top. thanks for the links!
