Dry Hopping

Is it necessary to somehow sanitize a muslin bag when dry hopping?

I always give mine a quick star san dip and ring them out well

I would certainly say it was necessary. And trivial to do: either boil it for a short minute, or dunk it in Star San solution and wring it out...
