I am doing a IPA and it asks for dry hopping. Normally don't use a secondary fermenter, thats one of the reason I bought a conical fermenter. But everything I have read has said to dry hop in a secondary fermenter or a keg. I would prefer to just use my conical, anyone have expeirence with this one.

Thanks

I put leaf hops in a hop bag, weigh them down with a drinking glass, and tie them up with a wire tie - spray star san over the whole contraption and dump it in the conical.

I'll drop the trub and then toss the pellets right into the conical. Works great For me. I do it with a couple sg points left so it will purge the o2 out. If fermentation is complete I'll purge with co2 via the spunding valve.
