Dry hoping in the Unitank.

I had a tea ball that thought it would work but it won’t fit thought the 3” opening on the top of the Unitank. I guess I can open the 5” triclamp that holds the chilling cool.

How may of you guys just dump the hops right in lose? Is that a problem??

I did it once and I feel like I lost a lot of beer because of it but I didn't cold crash so that might be why.
