Making an IIPA that calls for dry hopping. When do most of you move to secondary to dry hop?

I go for three or so days in primaries. As soon as the initial fementation subsides, I will move to secondaries. As soon as I get them in the secondaries I dry hop, or fruit/nuts.

I leave it a couple of weeks before transferring off the yeast. Certainly make sure fermentation is complete.

I usually wait until primary fermentation is 85% over (or so), about 4-5 days, then dry hop.

Then get it off the yeast and dry hops at about 10 days.

I am sure their are many ways to do this, the one error, mentioned above, is to not to take it off the yeast too early, you want the yeast to be able to clean up after itself.

I do most of my dry hopping in the primary, with no secondary. To each their own, just make sure fermentation is over or mostly over if you're going to move it.
