Dry hop in the keg question

not good to hop in the keg at all, unless you use a hop-bag. warm pulls the hop oils out better, but it works either way in time
 
I just dry hopped in a cold keg using a hop-bag for 7 days and I could tell the difference.

I've dry-hopped with whole hops several times, and aside from being a monstrous pain in the a$$ to get into the primary, they've always worked out well. Pellet hops I'd totally advise against unless you filter when transferring (i.e. hop bag wrapped around the siphon nozzle).
