Sitting here in Hoover, Alabama enjoying a Heady compliments of my dear road warrior brother, and after pouring it up and enjoying several wonderful sips I start reading the can. "drink it from the can" it says. Hmmm?
What about all that nose in the glass etc?
But wait there's more. The dude on the can is *drinking from a glass*!
Now I'm thinking conspiracy theories, dogs and cats living together... ImageUploadedByHome Brew1414891657.413114.jpg
What say the beerminatti?

My first, overly-cynical thought was, hey they don't have to worry about clarity, filtering time/expense, etc if no one ever actually sees it.

I'd almost agree with auger, the fresh stuff is pretty cloudy from what I've seen. In his YouTube faq video John Kimmich says it's to make it less pretentious, or something along those lines.

Well, it does look like your drinking a tall-boy if you're walking around with the can in your hand. That's pretty unpretentious. :D

Honestly though, I drank it both ways and couldn't tell the difference.

Picked up a couple cases last week when I was on Vermont, I had it both ways I like it better on a glass you get better aromas that way imo

I've had it both ways and I just don't get the reasoning of savoring the aromas by drinking from the can. If it's in the can I don't smell the aroma nearly as much. So what's the point? If I pour it in a glass I get a huge punch in the face aroma, which is what I'm buying it for in the first place! How do you get more aroma by leaving it in the can which has a smaller opening?

I've never had Heady Topper. I've seen lots of pictures of the can. I assumed they were being facetious? When I get a can... I will pour it into a glass.
