A friend of mine got the obligatory BIAB kit from Williams Sonoma some time back and now his malt extract has dried out a bit. I wouldn't say it is a brick but it has some small bricks throughout. Maybe 25 percent of it is still a floury sort of texture. I couldn't tell him if it would be good or not, but I did tell him some of the beer geniuses on here would likely have thoughts on it. The kit he has uses the Briess Pilsen Light Dried Malt Extract 2.0 Lovibond
I think this is a link to the exact BIAB.

Also, anything else in general that he should take into consideration with a kit that has been sitting as long as two years? I thought maybe replace the yeast to be on the safe side. Thanks for the help.
