What do you guys think about double crushing grains in a food processor for BIAB? I usually buy crushed grain, and I've been thinking about giving them a spin in the food processor, but I'm not sure if this will actually have a positive effect on efficiency and I wonder if there are any downsides.

Don't you mean you want to pulverize the grain into flour? Because that is what you will get. You will end up with much more trub in your fermenter but you will also get better efficiency.

I crush my grains at the shop and run them in the food processor. 3 or 4 pulses.efficency did go up. You do have to watch for doughballs more with a finer crush
