doppelbock recipe?

Looked in recipe database but it was hard to figure out which had been tried by multiple people with good results. Anyone got one i should try? Thanks!

Recipe is not really that big a deal. I'd be inclined to start with just Munich malt, 20-some IBU of whatever noble hops are on hand, and my favorite lager yeast. If you need more obfuscation/handholding, maybe take a look at Kai's Imperator:

Healthy fermentation is more of an issue here than grist composition or hopping schedule. This beer requires plenty of yeast in good condition, and strictly controlled fermentation.
