I was into Barleywine before I knew #BIL was a thing or that DDB was really into it. I never knew there were others like me. I always knew Bigfoot was a big deal. I was super bummed when Brooklyn stopped making Monster. But seeing others being into it has made me embrace it and look for it more. **** I got a case of Olde School just so I can pop open one any time I want.

I was into Barleywine before I knew #BIL was a thing or that DDB was really into it. I never knew there were others like me. I always knew Bigfoot was a big deal. I was into Bigfoot on labels back in the mid-90s (see Kokanee junk-lager) and transitioned to the SN variety based on mascot over a decade ago. Who knew they were such different beers? But I dug the latter and searched out more barelywines. Eventually Krunehanns Bibibibibiswine and it was over. Then some scenster (probably into the Descendants) raved about K's BBBW on a blogger site and subbeedoo was born. But I was there long before. I just didn't brag about it.
