this will be our pup's first winter. can't wait to see what she thinks of the snow. i can imagine her going nuts and trying to catch every single snowflake as it floats to the ground. can't wait :D

My Staffordshire terrier experienced snow for the first time this morning!

Wife said she ran around and as to be expected tried eating it, as she tries eating everything. What a little vacuum cleaner!

This is Doodle. She is a Shih Tzu Terrier mix. Cute as a button but quite a bad Arse. here she is after my sister's 50Lb Lab wanted to show her who's house she was in.....

Been a rough year. Lost one of my greyhounds last spring and the replacement didn't work out. Fey went back to Oregon Greyhound adoption and someone else adopted her. November, we got a shepard-mix, who had just weaned her pups. All three of our males accepted her. A week later, Baby (a toy poodle) was diagnosed with diabetes. Plus, he had liver problems and was going blind. We started giving him insulin shots. Less than a month later, Kellie took him to the emergency vet because he was refusing to eat. It looked like low blood sugar, but the test came back "off the scale high". They also said he was completely blind. We decided it was time to let go. Kellie got Baby when he was 9 weeks old and had him for over 14 years. So, after spending over $3000 in a year on vet bills for Baby, we put him down two weeks ago.

I'd post some pictures, but my old links are N/G.

My dog Kalli, she is a boxer/border collie mix. First picture is the first week we had her, and the second is her now with SWMBO.

The two wild animals that inhabit my home. They're both some sort of pitbull mixes, and of course they're both rescues.

Is that a collar or a necklace?

Love pitties. Best breed, super sweet natured.

Yeah they really are. Too bad most people are ignorant and just assume they're all vicious fighting dogs.

I used to defend pits until I was blue in the face but then a "super sweet natured" one took a disliking to my special ed little brother and tried to rip out his throat. It took 3 grown men to get the dog off of him. Permanent damage. I love all dogs but will never look at a pit the same again and will ALWAYS be cautious around one.

My baby girl, Sierra (Bernese Mountain Dog)

Beautiful pup, man. One of my favorite breeds. It is a shame they have such a short life expectancy, that's the only reason I was deterred from getting one.
