Does Too Much Sanitizing Ruin Tubing?

I left a few items, including spoons, tubing, and the like soaking in a bucket filled with sanitizer for about a week. When I checked on it again, I noticed that the tubing was very cloudy and no amount of rinsing seems to clear it up. Is my tubing ruined, or is that side-effect of too much soaking harmless?

Definitely not ruined.. just lack of original transparency. No harm, no foul. I heat mine in boiling water and stretch the heck out of them to relax the coil they come with. Ends up a bit cloudy.. work just fine.
