Does home brew cause more flatulence?

Does homebrew cause more (and worse) beer farts than BMC? I know we've had this discussion about hangovers in the past (I never get a hangover from my homebrew) but I don't know about this issue. My unscientific observation (and SWMBO's very pointed observation) leaves me to believe that the problem is much worse after I have sampled a couple of homebrews for two or three days running. I may have to lay off the stuff for a few days (how will I live?).

Yup, and it's also the reason for a less pronounced hangover. So pick your poison.

Actually a little OT, but Ive been using those "Chasers" from GNC if I have a night out at the bar. They do seem to work really well.

In addition to the lack of hangovers, another good thing I've noticed about drinking homebrew (flatulence aside) is that it does not seem to cause me any digestive problems. If I drink too much BMC it really messes me up. Not so with the homebrew.

The worst hangovers for me are from a "light" beer, or one of those "ice" beers. They really screw me up. With HB, though, no hangovers, and I get a better feeling gut. Not as "full" feeling, and I think the food digests better, too.

When we moved into our house a couple years ago I brewed a couple batches for the housewarming party. A friend of mine had never had homebrew and spent all night drinking it. A couple years later (he lives a long ways away) he was over and I asked if he wanted one. He didn't, because apparently he spent all day after the party sh***ing his guts out
