Does homebrew cause more (and worse) beer farts than BMC? I know we've had this discussion about hangovers in the past (I never get a hangover from my homebrew) but I don't know about this issue. My unscientific observation (and SWMBO's very pointed observation) leaves me to believe that the problem is much worse after I have sampled a couple of homebrews for two or three days running. I may have to lay off the stuff for a few days (how will I live?).

Especially, Hefe Weizen.

The trick to not getting a "hangaround" (as I call them) is to drink several small glasses of water before setting your head down on the pillow, or floor...:drunk:

Incidently, do you know why women don't fart?

They never shut up long enough to build up any pressure. (Or so I've heard....)

Actually a little OT, but Ive been using those "Chasers" from GNC if I have a night out at the bar. They do seem to work really well.

my wife vents equally from both ends.

Mine also vents a lot from both ends, but if her output from the other end was as much as from the oral, I'm afraid she alone would rival the methane production of all the cattle in North America.

PC Translation: She talks a lot.

NonPC Translation: Will she never for even one minuted shut her @(*&$# @((&@$ mouth.

In addition to the lack of hangovers, another good thing I've noticed about drinking homebrew (flatulence aside) is that it does not seem to cause me any digestive problems. If I drink too much BMC it really messes me up. Not so with the homebrew.

When we moved into our house a couple years ago I brewed a couple batches for the housewarming party. A friend of mine had never had homebrew and spent all night drinking it. A couple years later (he lives a long ways away) he was over and I asked if he wanted one. He didn't, because apparently he spent all day after the party sh***ing his guts out:ban:

Many of the unfermentable sugars that make homebrew great are no challenge to gut bacteria.

Have you noticed that when you were dating your girlfriend never farted, thats because before she was married, she didn't have an *******.

Speaking of wives talking too much...

During the time when the "outing" of Valerie Plame was really big news, my wife says something like "I just can't imagine having a job where I couldn't talk to you at all about what I did at work. Wouldn't that be awful?"

My tongue still hurts from biting it--"Yeah, Honey, that'd be a crying shame."

Then she asked you her jeans made her look fat, right?
