If you were to use heading powder before you bottle does that eliminate priming sugar? And does heading powder increase the body or change the flavor of the beer? i was thinking about adding heading powder to my duvel clone but not if it boosts the body too much.I want to carb this beer to 4 volumes, so how would you go about that with this product? add the powder and some extra dextrose? add 2 packs? i gotta do some research but if any one has any experience with this product it would be cool to hear about it..cheers

Not sure about the heading powder eliminating priming sugar; guess that depends on if it contains sugar.

Unless you're putting that beer in Belgian thick-walled bottles, *don't* do 4 volumes. You'll be asking for bombs.
