Putting the two together, the top image shows the relief in the valve (shown in the second image) oriented just above the base of the spout, which is functionally similar to more traditional forward-sealing faucets...

I don't have them, and they're expensive, but I think they're the best. I'd love to get the flow control version. Maybe someday.

You'll see them a lot around boutique/smaller breweries. The flow control version has the best controlled pour out of all the manufacturers. It's great for breweries that basically only do growler fills.

Places around me like Hill Farmstead and Deciduous Brewing have been using them.

You can get away with cheaper, and do the job fine, but these are definitely the Cadillac of faucets!
