Do I Need carb tablets

Ok so when I brewed my first batch of beer this weekend I used one pound of golden light DME. My question is once the beer is finished fermenting and I'm ready to bottle do I need those carb tablets?? I also attached a picture of my fermenting beer in case anybody wants to check it out and give feedback

You can use the carb tablets or Cooper's carb drops in the bottles if you want. Or use a bottling bucket & bulk prime with sugar dissolved in boiled water. Cool a bit & add to the rising column of beer in the bottling bucket.

I agree with unionrdr, just bulk prime in a bottling bucket. Those carb drops are OK but not carbing to style. Use this priming calculator. http://www.northernbrewer.com/priming-sugar-calculator/
