Many of us at home use fining agents to get bright, clear beer, but do breweries (big or small) use them too? Im supposing yes, but just curious.

You betcha.

Carrageen tablets in the boil... gelatin..isinglass..all kinds of different clarity chemicals. Cold crashing... etc

Take a tour of a macro and they are proud to show off their massive post fermentation filtration setup.

I've worked at a craft brewery. Like a previous poster said, "Most are very proud of their massive filtration systems.

The one I worked at started with a DTE filter. Then Filter pads as a secondary filtration. Later they used a straight centrifuge with no secondary filtration.

Fining agents are expensive in the amounts that a full sized brewery would need. And unnecessary.
