I am finally getting around to making some custom tap handle out of old motorcycle parts I have laying around. Thought I would share the connecting rod taps I finished this weekend. I have plans to do some cam shaft taps and a shock or shock spring tap. I hope by sharing it will motivate me to continue make more.

Very cool. I was thinking about doing some out of old grips. I will look forward to seeing the others.
 
That is way cool. Reminds me of some of the cool decorative things they did with parts at the Harley-Davidson Museum.

And I think you've inspired me to put faucets on the front of my Danby fridge!
 
I have not clear coated them at this point. I wanted to see how quickly they start to rust to decided what finish to use. Thanks for the comments.
