DIY Connical Fermentor??

Has there ever been an idea of a DIY connical?? Been doing some thinking.. would be nice.

I looked into building a stainless steel conical but ended up just purchasing one. The cost of building was not much less once the cost of welding, tri-clamp fittings, gaskets etc. were factored in. If you want to make 100's of them the price comes down, but just one is expensive.
