Has anyone ever built a custom keg?
I work for a stainless pipe welding shop and a couple of the guys and I were throwing around the idea of fabricating custom kegs.
I'm interested to see if I can get the components for cheaper than buying new. At this point the only snag I can think of is finding a way to create the opening for filling and cleaning.
If I can figure that out I could probably do the whole thing for under $20 for a 3 gallon keg.
Any ideas?

Definitely intersted in this. I question the $20 as the ball lock fittings will cost you more than that I think.
