Do you guys have to replace your dip tube o-rings every time you take the posts off your keg? Mine are completely shredded when I finish a keg and go to clean it out. I have to change them out every time. Just wondering if it happens to anyone else. I'm going to have to order a big ol' bag of em' from Mcmaster Carr...

Are you using an impact wrench to tighten the posts? Mine are fine, I replace them along with all the others the first time I use a new keg, just to get rid of the pepsi smell in the original o-rings. After sanatizing the new o-rings put just a bit of food grade lube on them. Get the post tight then just give it one extra bump to seat it.

Yeah that's probably why they are shredded I tighten them as hard as I can turn the ratchet. So hand tight and a little extra bump huh?

You'll want to tighten them up slightly with a box end wrench then give em a bump. Check out this video from Chris Knight [ame]http://www.youtube.com/user/chrisknight000#p/u[/ame]
go to his uploads and check out video 3 of 4 (kegging) He has an awsome pic post on this forum of a Brutus Build also.
Cheers
