Digital Temperature Controler

I have the opportunity to get a display cooler that was used at a grocery store that stored Reddi Whip. I was thinking about hooking this up to a digital controller that most people use on freezers and such but wasn't sure if it would work. Does anyone see a reason as to why it wouldn't work. It is basically just a refrigerator which pretty much answers my question but figured what the hell I might as well ask. Thanks.

Should work just fine. Two basic ways to wire it... wire your controller on the power outside the unit.. or actually replace the units thermostat.
