Good evening brewers. A few weeks ago I finished my first extract batch, a brewers best red ale. My question is that I bottled 12 one liter flip top bottles and the remainder in 12 oz glass bottles. All the bottles received the same cleaning process. I filled the big bottles first then the 12ozs. The issue is that the flip tops taste so much better than the 12s. Is that just because the 12s were filled last? I made sure to leave as much sediment in the secondary as I could. The 12s also have a different carbonation than the big ones. Any info is appreciated.

i've noticed something similar early on in conditioning. With time things become more uniform, but there still may be slight differences.

Thanks for he input. I did notice a change even in the 12oz bottles by waiting another week. Thanks again.
