Hi guys,
I recently lost my stopper and been looking for a new one. Several minutes into my search for buying a new one, I am startled with three kinds of different stoppers that are available. They are rubber, silicone and cellulose stoppers. Is there any difference between them in oxygen permeability or any other aspect that may be important?

Never thought about this, I've always just purchased the stoppers that my local store carries, which I think are rubber. I can't imagine oxygen permeability would be an issue with rubber stoppers. Maybe if you were doing very long bulk storage. I've never heard of cellulose stoppers, are those used for scientific/lab purposes, perhaps?

Looking forward to see if anyone has more info than I do.
