OK, I have been thinking of doing this for a few weeks and trying to figure out how to actually do it. Well, I decided today to do a Oatmeal Stout recipe from my LHBS( More Beer). I spoke with Jonathon Plise( the guy from one of the home brewing podcasts). Anyway, All I did was get a24x24 grain bag and placed it into my bucket. As you can guess it did not hold the temp very well! But I managed to get it all done and finished in about 4 3/4 hrs. I have run marathons in shorter time. But it was fun. Now I have to get me one of those coolers from Walmart and do it right, maybe AG!?!
I will look into going AG after the holidays, have to get SWMBO a good gift I guess. Just wanted to share my great experience, thanks for all your help!
