I am brewing what is supposed to be a dry stout (Ode to Arthur, located on these forums.)
I have just determined that I somehow forgot to get the flaked barley, which accounts for two pounds of the 8.5lb grain bill. Awesome.
Right now, Beersmith says I'll get a 2.95%ABV stout, which I can cope with. What I am concerned about though is the body.
I have 2lb of DME in the fridge. Should I add that to the boil, currently underway?
Edit: Ended up adding 1LB to the boil after crunching some numbers in Beersmith. OG will be in style now, at least. Here's hoping I get something good out of this anyway.
