Does anyone in Denver add anything to thier water? I don't add anything and have never measured by pH. Should I? Does anyone else in Denver need to add anything to their water to get a proper pH?

What is denver water like?

Thanks!

I usually add about 1/2 tsp gypsum to my mash water (Boulder water) for a 10 gallon batch, my mash pH usually comes out about right.

The big key for me to getting my mash to work was adding a charcoal filter to my sink system, there was way too much chlorine and my theory was that it was inhibiting the mash, which resulted in way high FG's in my batch.

If you aren't doing AG, all of this is not useful to you I just realized...
