I have been "brewing" for about 5 years off and on. I brew for the tase of a good beer. Bud and Miller are fine for... well not much:cross: Just got an old corny keg, first time kegging, and have a Honey Amber in it getting carbonated. Brewed a coffee stout tonight and its in the primary. I am hoping to get a little bit smarter in my brewing and hope that you guys can help out.

Welcome. It sounds like you've got some experience already, but if you want to learn more, there is hardly a better place than HBT.

I've noticed that there are a couple of brewers on here from Baton Rouge. You are the first brewer I've noticed from Denham Springs. Do you have a homebrew store there or do you order your supplies on the net?

There is a store but has odd hours. He operates it out of his house. Great service and helpful, just hard to time the hours right. Most of my stuff is from the web
