My first batch has been in the fermenter for 2 weeks. I was supposed to be bottling today but my wife just had our first baby.
It may be a few days before I can get to bottling, are there any issues with this?

Thanks!

I don't think about bottling until my beers have been in the primary for at least three weeks. This gives the beer some time to clear, and the yeast/trub layer to compact.

Congratulations!

Bottle when you gate some time. I would leave it at least another week but if you are short on time (which you almost certainly will be) you could bottle in 2,3,4,5 weeks without any adverse consequences in all likelihood.

Sometimes mine sit in primary a month or more before bottling....no issues but I normally bottle after three weeks.

To a point(like maybe a year) the longer you leave them alone, the better they will be.
Congratulations! This one will have to be named 'Baby Brew'.

Congrats on the little one!!!
For the question, no, no problems, in fact, it may even help your beer. Like someone else above, I leave mine for about 3 weeks before even trying the gravity the first time, then put it back a couple days to verify. I've left them for 6 weeks with no issues.
