Hello everyone, I'm working on my first batch, and I had a sluggish fermentation. A local meadery recommended I repitch the yeast. So I did a starter with EC-1118. My question is, should I aerate and degas like I did in the beginning? I degassed daily until half the sugar was consumed. I don't have any equipment so I generally just rock my carboy until it gets a good head of foam, but I'm worried that doing it at this point would introduce too much oxygen. Any help is appreciated.
