Defrosting fridge?

So im drilling and building my kegerator today, butiforgot to defrost the fridge. Is it ok to still build and drill the hole even with the fridge still plugged in??

Sure. As long as the hole you are drilling is in the door where there are no cooling elements or electronics you will be fine.
