Im getting ready to bottle my DC Stout thats been in primary for five weeks, how much sugar/water should I use? I do not want to repeat the last nightmare with all foam, overcarbed, blah, blah..

Can anyone give me some advice please?

Thx! :mug:

Use the link in my sig for the priming sugar calculator. Boil the sugar in a cup or two of water, and you'll be golden.

Most stouts do nice with around 2.2-2.3 volumes of CO2. I've seen some as low as 1.8 volumes, as high as 2.5.
