I've got my first batch, a red ale from an extract kit, bottled and waiting for next Sunday to open, and I've got a brown porter (also an extract kit) in primary right now. Swmbo and I have a friend who's having a baby in March, who has informed us she will be more than ready to have a beer once that happens. So we're calling it the Post-Partum Porter.
I plan to get into all-grain brewing eventually, but I thought I'd get my feet wet with some kits first.
