Yeah, I got a small Airbnb in West Glover. Less than 10 minutes from Parker Pie, ~20 from HF. It actually got better when the sunset hit its apex:

Frickin awesome man, enjoy it. Stayed in Craftsbury a couple of weeks ago for the first time - usually stay in Waterbury. Just so damn gorgeous this time of year. Not to get too philosophical here but it's just so refreshing for the mind and body to relax and drink that beer in that setting. No place I'd rather be.

i got forced time off coming up at the beginning of august (grandma who watches my boys is heading to el salvador for 2 weeks) we wanted to go but tickets went up to $800.

so now i have to come up with another vacation. man i’ve been looking at spots out that way, if it lines up i’m hoping to swing this!

but how to convince my wife!?!

That's pretty much exactly what I was going for, I needed a mental refresh/recharge and this has been the perfect environment for that. Like, I'm literally sitting out just listening to the birds, then I'll switch that up for some music when they head to sleep. It feels so, so good to just slow things down and take it easy.
