Bugged the local brewery till they made a beer for me. Palmer’s coconut porter, a 6% porter conditioned on bourbon oak chips, 3 types of coconut, coffee, and chocolate. Has an awesome coconut tiramisu flavor and the low abv makes it super crushable.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this beer. I think I was expecting a boozy mess with no hops. I don't have a good track record with hoppy beers aged in barrels. I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this one.
