Visiting Hokkaido and decided to take the trains to get to Yoichi, one of the Nikka Whisky distilleries.
Had some free samples in a tasting room and then went to the museum part and paid to try some more. This was our favorite: the Yoichi 20 single malt.
Wish we could have bought a bottle of that to take home. Ended the day at the old Sapporo brewery and tried this one which is only available there. Was still ok at best.
Wets Kriek. Approximately 1987. Oxidized and sherry notes, likely artificially sweetened. Drinkable, a fun treat that I'm glad I had a chance to try, but clearly too old and maybe it was never all that great in the first place. @ Pressklubben
Also a 1994ish Liefman's Frambozen. Because why not?
