I went in with very high expectations that it didn't quiiiiiiiiite live up to. Good, but not life-changing. I think the fruit and the oak meshed nicely together, whereas in one of the fruited Tradeship series I had, I thought the fruit and oak clashed a lot.

I must have got a bad bottle, opened one with friends Sunday night and it was heavy on the Oak/Vanilla/smoke... Got a bit better as it warmed, the fruit seemed to come out a bit more but it was far from good

That's very close to how I'd describe the Tradeship blood orange that I drank (though it was more 'eh, decent' than 'far from good'). Still have one of the prickly pear to take down, curious to see how that one is.

I drank the dry-hopped back in early August because I figured that'd be best fresh, and it was a very, very good 'American lambic.'
